Job Description:
Angott Search Group is pleased to partner with a $4 billion
Michigan credit union in their search for a Real Estate Lending
Director. The Real Estate Lending Director oversees areas within
the real estate lending area including production, underwriting,
processing, closing, and servicing to support the achievement of
the credit union's goals. Ensures the financial objectives,
strategic goals, and the credit union's growth targets are achieved
in accordance with our policies, state and federal government
regulations, and in alignment with our desired member experience.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field required.
Experience: The ideal candidate brings 7 years of progressively
responsible management experience in the mortgage services
industry, with a strong background in mortgage lending management
and a proven track record of growing loan portfolios while
effectively managing risk and profitability. Preference will be
given to candidates with experience at mid-size to large financial
institutions and a background in mortgage lending. In addition, the
candidate should have 5 years of leadership experience, with
familiarity using Encompass considered a plus.
