Job Description:
The YMCA of Greater Grand Rapids seeks a dedicated Regional
Property Director to lead our property management team, overseeing
the maintenance and operational efficiency of properties across the
region. This role is pivotal in ensuring that all YMCA facilities
are safe, welcoming, and align with our mission of fostering
community development. As a leader in the nonprofit sector
dedicated to promoting social responsibility and healthy living,
the Regional Property Director will strategically manage multiple
facilities to support various programs including fitness,
childcare, and community initiatives. Develop and implement
comprehensive facility maintenance strategies across multiple
properties. Oversee capital improvement projects, ensuring they are
completed on time and within budget. Manage relationships with
contractors and service providers, ensuring compliance with safety
standards and contract specifications. Conduct regular inspections
and audits of facilities to identify necessary repairs or upgrades.
Coordinate with other departments to align facilities management
with the YMCA's mission and operational needs. Prepare and manage
annual budgets for property operations and maintenance. Lead,
train, and manage the property management team to achieve
excellence in facility upkeep and member satisfaction. Strong
leadership and team management skills Excellent project management
abilities Proficient in budgeting and financial management
Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and facility
maintenance Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
and stakeholders Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision
Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or
equivalent is preferred. Project Management Professional (PMP)
certification is considered an asset.
