School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1
years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do
not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A school
psychologist position is available in a Detroit, MI school setting,
offered on a contract basis. This role focuses on gathering and
analyzing student information to support educational and mental
health needs, contributing to a positive and effective learning
environment. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct psychological
assessments and evaluations to identify student needs - Gather
detailed information through interviews, observations, and review
of records - Collaborate with educators, families, and support
teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) - Provide
counseling and intervention services to support student well-being
- Assist in crisis response and prevention strategies within the
school community - Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to
confidentiality standards Desired Qualifications: - Certification
or licensure as a school psychologist - Experience working within
school environments, preferably in urban settings - Strong skills
in data gathering, assessment, and interpretation - Ability to
communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff -
Knowledge of behavioral and mental health practices relevant to
schools - Capacity to work independently and as part of a
