Job Description We are seeking a Permanent Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon in Michigan. Permanent Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon Position Type: Permanent Placement Specialty: Physician - Surgery - Orthopedic Trauma Location: Saginaw, MI Rate: Open & Negotiable Shift: Days On-Call Start Date: TBD End Date: N/A Position Details: - Patient Population: All ages, trauma and orthopedic surgery cases - Setting: Hospital-based practice at Covenant HealthCare - Responsibilities: - Diagnose, treat, and surgically manage complex orthopedic trauma cases - Provide specialized care for polytrauma, acute fractures, joint injuries, nonunion/malunion fractures, bone infections, and musculoskeletal traumas - Work collaboratively with a 10-physician orthopedic team - Call responsibility: Approximately 4 calls per month - Required Procedures: Orthopedic trauma surgeries, including pelvis and extremity fractures, joint injuries, and complex reconstructions - EMR System: EPIC - Support Staff: Multidisciplinary team, including orthopedic surgeons, trauma specialists, and advanced practice providers - Days Per Month: Full-time schedule with call coverage - On-Call/Weekends: 4 calls per month Submission Requirements: - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS only) - Required - Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Trauma - Required - Active MI license or in process of obtaining - Highly Preferred - 2 years of experience in Orthopedic Trauma - Preferred Join us today!
