Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Cath Lab Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Start Date: 01/19/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 10 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity Position Overview This position involves the setup of all radiographic equipment prior to the performance of angiographic procedures. Responsibilities include processing and conducting quality control checks on cine radiographic images, assisting in patient preparation for procedures, and collaborating with other members of the cardiac catheterization lab and Interventional Radiology staff as needed to ensure efficient and timely use of the lab. Responsibilities - Patient Preparation and Support (35%): Assists in preparing patients, setting up sterile trays, providing post-catheterization care, and cleaning up the procedure room. - Equipment Operation (35%): Manipulates radiographic equipment and selects appropriate techniques on radiographic generators to achieve optimal image quality. - Electronic Equipment Operation (30%): Operates various electronic devices including cardiac output computers, oxygen saturation equipment, hemodynamic equipment, and pacemakers. Performs oxygen saturation studies and cardiac output measurements. Qualifications - Cath Lab experience is required. - Current Skills Checklist related to the specialty (Cath Lab) must be provided. - Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years are required. - Active certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is necessary. - Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. - Current American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification is required. Work Schedule This position typically involves day shifts of 10 hours with a 40-hour work guarantee. Location The position is located in a city within the United States.
