Job Description Job Description Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1 years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Perform diagnostic radiologic procedures under the direction of a Radiologist to assist in the evaluation of medical conditions. This role requires detailed knowledge of radiographic techniques, patient positioning, and safety protocols to produce high-quality imaging studies. Utilize independent judgment and technical expertise to deliver accurate imaging results while maintaining patient comfort and safety throughout the process. Core responsibilities include preparing patients and explaining examination procedures, analyzing patient anatomy, operating imaging equipment, and managing intravenous contrast administration when applicable. Ensure compliance with radiation protection principles and infection control standards. Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and imaging systems, assist in teaching new staff or students, and uphold team standards through effective communication and professionalism. Key Qualifications & Desired Experience: Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist or X-ray Technologist Proficiency in performing standard and specialized radiologic procedures Strong understanding of radiation safety and ALARA principles Ability to prepare and administer intravenous contrast media safely Experience with Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and Radiology Information System (RIS) Excellent patient care skills including clear communication and empathy Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards Location: Based in Grosse Pointe, MI, this position offers the opportunity to work in a vibrant suburban community renowned for its scenic waterfront, beautiful parks, and a rich cultural scene.
