Job Description & Requirements Specialty: CVOR Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) Registered Nurse – Michigan Start Date: February 2, 2026 Location: Saginaw, Michigan Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Call required on all days worked and weekends; weekend call is for backup only and activation is infrequent Highlights: Cardiovascular Operating Room position with focus on open heart procedures Exposure to diverse surgical cases including general, neuro, and ortho procedures Leadership role supervising OR team and coordinating room activities Opportunity to develop individualized patient care plans throughout the perioperative continuum Supportive environment with emphasis on staff development and continuing education Weekend call commitment is minimal with very infrequent activations Requirements: Active Michigan RN license Minimum 3 years of CVOR experience required Open heart surgical experience required Current American Heart Association BLS certification Current American Heart Association ACLS certification Experience with general, neuro, and ortho cases highly preferred Recent travel work history highly preferred Current skills checklist (within 1 year) specific to CVOR specialty Two supervisory reference forms completed within the last two years Why It's a Great Opportunity: This position offers an experienced CVOR nurse the chance to take on a leadership role while working with a collaborative surgical team dedicated to excellent patient outcomes.
