Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 02/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Shift Notes: 7P - 7:15A (12 Hour Nights) / 36 Hour Guarantee Weekend Requirements: Every Other Weekend/Holiday On Call Requirements: No Job Description: Works under the supervision of the Med-Surg Nurse Manager. The Staff RN assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care on the nursing unit according to established policies, procedures, and guidelines. Accepts responsibility for the direction of co-workers in the implementation of the patient's plan of care. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsibilities (50%)* Provides nursing care using the Nursing Process by: Completing nursing assessment of patient and documenting appropriately in the patient chart. Develops a plan of care based upon the assessment of the patient. Implements plan of care and documents in the chart. (30%)* Evaluates patient's response to care and updates plan of care. (20%)* Oversees the delegation of specifics of the patient plan of care to unit staff. Submission Requirements 2 Years of Med Surg Experience - [REQUIRED] Strong Ortho Experience - [REQUIRED] ALL SCHEDULING REQUESTS MUST BE MADE AT THE TIME OF SUBMISSION Certification Requirements BLS (AHA) State License Requirements Michigan VeeAR Health Job ID 64389. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
