Job Description:
Encompass Health Corporation seeks a dedicated Nurse Supervisor
to lead our healthcare team and oversee the nursing operations at
one of our inpatient rehabilitation hospitals. This role involves
managing staff, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations,
and maintaining high standards of patient care. The Nurse
Supervisor will be pivotal in fostering an environment that
emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and high-performance.
Supervise nursing staff and manage daily operations in the
inpatient department. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations
and hospital policies. Monitor and ensure the quality of patient
care. Implement staff development and educational programs. Manage
patient care planning and execution. Coordinate with other
healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Manage
budgeting and resources for the nursing department. Strong
leadership and organizational skills. Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills. Proficient in healthcare management systems
and patient care software. Ability to work effectively under
pressure and make decisions in emergency situations. Knowledge of
healthcare laws, regulations, and standards. Medical Insurance
Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Valid
Registered Nurse (RN) license. Basic Life Support (BLS) and
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
preferred. Certification in nursing leadership or health care
administration is beneficial.
