Interventional Radiology Locums Opportunity - Lansing, MIQuick Highlights

Priority Screening RequirementsBoard Certification

• Board Certified Interventional Radiologist (Required)

Licensure

• Active Michigan Medical License (Required)
• IMLC/Compact Licenses Not Accepted

Certifications

• BLS (Required)
• ACLS (Required)

Availability

• Full-time coverage preferred
• Travel candidates must be available for at least 2-3 weeks per month

ScheduleRegular Hours

• Monday - Friday
• 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Call Requirements

• Q3 Weekday Call
• Q3 Weekend Call
• Call Ratio: 1:3

• Hospital-Based Interventional Radiology

Team Structure

• 3 Interventional Radiologists
• 2 Advanced Practice Providers
• Dedicated IR Manager

Patient Population

• Primarily Adult
• Frequent Geriatric Patients

Volume

• Average of 8 cases per day

Required Procedures

Candidates should be comfortable performing:

Vascular & Endovascular Procedures

• Angioplasty
• Stent Placement
• Embolization
• Thrombolysis

Image-Guided Procedures

• Needle Biopsy

Advanced IR Procedures

• Uterine Fibroid Embolization (UFE)

Support & Resources

• Collaborative physician team
• APP support for patient management and procedural workflow

Ideal Candidate

• Board Certified Interventional Radiologist
• Active Michigan license in hand
• Comfortable with hospital-based procedural practice
• Willing to participate in Q3 call rotation
• Available for consistent ongoing coverage
