Job Title: Customs Trade & Compliance Specialist Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Onsite) Pay: $60,000-$80,0000 Schedule: Monday-Friday Our client is a global, Europe-based company with a strong presence in Grand Rapids, MI. They recently relocated their U.S. corporate office from Charlotte and now operate two local sites with 450 employees. With over 130 years in business and more than 7,000 products, they combine the stability of a global leader with the energy of a startup. The culture is casual and evolving, with accessible leadership and newly forming processes. Key Responsibilities: Customs Filings: Complete weekly customs filings through QAD within 48 hours of container arrival. This includes verifying invoices and pricing against packing slips and entering data into the system for submission. Inbound Trade Management : Manage and track inbound movements from the U.S. to Canada via QAD, ensuring accurate, manual entry of 20-30 line items. Work to avoid unnecessary tariffs by ensuring timely and accurate filings. FTZ Support : Assist with Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ) operations to support cost-saving and compliance strategies. Requirements: Must-Have: Ability to read and understand trade documentation Strong systems aptitude and attention to detail Experience with compliance or regulatory environments (e.g., trade, ISO, or engineering standards) Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced level preferred) Preferred: Licensed Customs Broker Familiarity with global trade regulations and U.S. import/export laws Experience with HTS classification and trade documentation Background in manufacturing Experience using QAD or similar ERP software INJUN2025 ZRCFS
