Job Description Job Description Assembler Wyoming, MI 2nd Shift: 3pm-11:30pm Monday-Friday Multiple Positions Available Job Summary We are seeking a dependable Assembler to support the final build of transportation seating products. This role involves assembling complex seating units using blueprints, tools, and detailed specifications while meeting quality and safety standards in a union manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and established procedures Verify materials, components, and equipment are available before beginning work Measure, align, and assemble components to ensure proper fit and function Select or modify parts according to specifications and measurements Assemble complex seating units following quality and production standards Perform required system and ERP transactions, including time and production reporting Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality requirements Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition Report equipment issues, defects, or material concerns to supervision Follow all safety rules, procedures, and PPE requirements Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required 1 year of assembly or manufacturing experience preferred Skills & Abilities Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and engineering-grade tape measures (including decimals) Experience using hand and power tools, including air tools, drills, impact wrenches, clamps, and drill presses Basic tooling setup experience Understanding of quality control principles Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work with fiberglass materials Reliable attendance and ability to work scheduled hours Working Conditions & Physical Requirements Standing for entire shift Ability to lift up to 40 lbs Repetitive hand and arm movements Twisting, bending, and stooping as needed Exposure to metal dust and fiberglass Safety glasses required at all times TSTRATHP By providing your mobile number, you consent to receive text messages from Talent Strategy regarding your job application, interviews, and employment updates.
