This position is within the Maintenance & Construction
Scheduling department and provides direct support for the Gas
Distribution Department. Employees in this position are required to
have a wide range of skills, knowledge and expertise in technical
areas, business, and customer relations. Employees perform their

* Plan and schedule underground gas construction, maintenance
and emergency work. * Monitor, prioritize, and assign workload
according to resources, staffing, and geography, making appropriate
adjustments as necessary. * Coordinate activities with customers,
employees, departments, and outside agencies to meet customer
commitments. * Facilitate and participate in weekly meetings
between Field Leaders, Resource Schedulers, and other internal
departments. * Monitor gas leak compliance dates and schedule
accordingly. * Respond to MPSC and Legislative complaints. * Ensure
proper permitting with municipalities, ensure proper safety
requirements with MISS DIG, and facilitate coordination between
other additional agencies as necessary.

functional in the Scheduler role, upon accepting this position, you

* One or more years of customer service or technical experience
* Effectively manage meetings and calendars * Excellent

clients * Strong knowledge of MS Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint.

Prior scheduling experience
* Talking on the phone or two-way radio, using a computer and
managing multiple applications for up to 8 hours or more per day,
follow and provide written and oral work instructions, typing,
writing and taking notes, be able to use standard office equipment,
be able to multitask (work on multiple tasks at once), communicate
clearly with customers, contractors, and employees, staying calm
and composed in high pressure situations or emergencies. * May be
required to maintain on-call support for work management centers. *
Performs other related duties as required.

* Travel Requirements:May include travel to a headquarters once
or twice a week to print packages * Hours:Work a flexible schedule,
which may include evenings, weekends, holidays and overtime.
