Welcome to AMK Farms! We are a family owned and operated farm located just east of Saginaw, MI. On 2,800 acres we grow pickling cucumbers, sugar beets, soybeans, and corn. We are hardworking and extremely family oriented as we view our employees as members of our own family.We are hiring a Farm Equipment Operator - Farm Hand to join our team in Saginaw, MI. In this role you will be operating various farm and other heavy equipment while performing basic light maintenance repairs.We offer a competitive wage of $16-$25 per hour depending on experience, health, dental, and vision insurance, bonuses, overtime pay, and every Christmas-New Year's off.What you will be doing:Operate farm equipment such as tractors, combines, plows, and planters.Perform basic maintenance on farm equipment.Truck driving.Assist in all other areas of the farm where needed.This job might be for you if:Have prior farm and or agriculture experience.Basic mechanical knowledge.CDL or willingness to obtain.Work well independently and in a group setting.Willing to work extended hours during peak seasons.
