Great Lakes Wine & Spirits is a growing statewide company seeking Delivery Associates for the Saginaw depot.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesThe Delivery Associate will be loading cases of wine and(or) spirits onto a handcart and hand delivering to accounts in and around the city of Saginaw. Other duties include but not limited to:Driving CDL Box trucks with airbrakesCheck product for damages and/or errorsCustomer Service skills are required - must be courteous, respectful and friendlyOperate power and manual pallet jacksOccasionally operate hi-lo'sClean out trucksCollect payment and reconcile routeCommunicate with department personnel professionallyAbility to operate equipment in all weather conditionsResponsible for ensuring product is delivered to the correct locations in the correct quantitiesFollow company, DOT, state and federal policies and proceduresPerform other duties as assignedWork ScheduleThe Delivery Associate is a full time position working Monday through Friday with start times varying around 5:30 AM. This requires the employee to be courteous, respectful and friendly to others. This position is also physically demanding in nature, separating and loading cases, and requires the Delivery Associate to occasionally lift up to 55 pounds.Required QualificationsCDL A or B license with airbrake endorsementChauffer license21 years of age and olderMust be willing to work in all weather conditionsWillingness to take direction and work independentlyAbility to occasionally lift up to 55 lbs.
