The Gift Shop Operator demonstrates excellent customer service

Scheduling volunteers for operational shifts.
Arrange substitute volunteers as needed
Check in and mark merchandise.
Responsible for covering shifts when substitutes are not
In conjunction with volunteers, restock merchandise.
Coordinate with volunteers, merchandising efforts and gift shop
Responsible for training new volunteers at all three locations.
Work closely with Gift Shop Manager in coordinating and
implementing yearly and seasonal marketing/promotional calendar
Route merchandise to various locations.
Promotes atmosphere of enthusiasm and pride amongst gift shop
Accurately directs patients, visitors, and all other Covenant
customers to the appropriate area of service.
Other duties as assigned.
High school diploma or GED required.
Preferred five years retail experience.
Preferred five years experience wholesale gift buying and
Knowledge of standard office equipment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Demonstrated organizational skills.
Good clerical skills.
Sound judgment in handling confidential or sensitive issues and
Ability to multi-task.
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Ability to maintain punctual attendance consistent with the ADA,
FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards.
